phpList Overview
This  overview demonstrates a basic flow of the phpList system:

  • how to log in
  • an overview of the system
  • how to send out a campaign:
    • import emails into a list
    • generate a simple message
    • run a test
    • go through the tabs on the campaign page
    • send
    • process the queue

It’s a good introduction to those that are new to the system, or just want someone to ‘walk them through it’.

 

 

phpList: Importing your list
This tutorial covers importing your lists into phpList three different ways:

  1. Copy and paste your list of emails
  2. Upload a file with email addresses

This first video on configuring phpList is a ‘chalk talk’ that describes the overall structure of phpList, and the two locations that configuration settings are saved, and how to access them.

Some settings for phpList are available only by logging into the web server and editing the config.php file. This video shows how to locate that file, provides a brief explanation the standard and extended file settings, how to use either, and suggests values you should use for your system.
